What is a fursona???

Alright, I was told who I was being a secret Santa to today. The person I am to draw for wants a fursona of himself and I have no idea what that is. So if anyone reading this does know what it is please tell me. Thank you.^_^ I hope the person I am doing this for doesn't see this and figure it out. I just need to know so he gets what he wants.
